Procurement

May 1, 2012: AltaLink selects two companies to act as EPC vendors.

After a fair, open and transparent procurement process, AltaLink L.P. has selected two companies to act as Engineering, Procurement and Construction vendors for direct assign and customer projects: SNC-Lavalin ATP Inc. and Burns & McDonnell Canada Ltd.

The vendors were selected after a competitive procurement process which involved three stages: Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Negotiations. An independent fairness advisor (KPMG) oversaw the process and reports it was fair.

The contracts will be in place for five years.
