AltaLink is proposing to upgrade its transmission system in the Fort Saskatchewan area to connect ATCO Power's proposed Heartland Generating Station to the electric system.
This project includes:
- constructing approximately two kilometres of new transmission line
- adding new equipment to the Josephburg Substation
