Equipment Capacity: The maximum power capability of piece of equipment. For example, a generating unit might have a rated capacity of 50 megawatts.

The purpose of the draft Detailed Environmental Impact Analysis (DEIA) is to identify baseline conditions within the 551L project area and assess the effects of the project on natural and cultural resources within Banff National Park. Once the DEIA is finalized and consultation is complete, Parks Canada will make a decision on the project.
