AltaLink is proposing to remove approximately 140 kilometres (87 miles) of existing transmission line between the area south of Aldersyde and the area south west of Fort Mcleod. As a result of new transmission developments that have recently been energized in the area, we are proposing to remove existing transmission lines that will no longer be needed.
