Kinder Morgan Canada has requested upgrades to AltaLink’s Gainford Substation to help support the power demands at the Gainford Pump Station facility for Kinder Morgan Canada’s proposed Trans Mountain Expansion Project.
The upgrades to the Gainford Substation include replacing the existing transformer with a new 138/4.16 kilovolt (kV) transformer.
