Irma Wind Farm Ltd. (Irma Wind) has requested a connection to the transmission system for their proposed new wind power project. AltaLink is proposing to construct a transmission line, operated and maintained by AltaLink, to connect Irma Wind’s potential Kinsella Substation to AltaLink’s Buffalo Creek Substation. We are proposing to build approximately 10 to 16 kilometres of 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line.
