FortisAlberta has requested upgrades to the electric system in your area to meet the growing demand for electricity. Substation upgrades will ensure residents and businesses continue to have a reliable supply of power. If approved, the substation upgrade includes adding the following new equipment to the substation:
- one new 238/25 kV transformer
- two new 138 kV circuit breaker and associated equipment
- one new combined control and switchgear building containing four new 25 kV circuit breakers
