Coalspur Mines (operations) Ltd. (Coalspur) has requested a connection to the transmission system for their approved Vista Coal Mine Project. To facilitate this connection, Coalspur has approval to construct a new substation to be called Vista Substation. AltaLink is proposing to construct a transmission line, operated and maintained by AltaLink, to connect the Vista Substation to the electric system.
