AltaLink is proposing to build a new 144 kilovolt (kV) substation, called Eyre 558S, southeast of Houcher Lake and Highway 41. The proposed substation site will be located on land owned by TransCanada Keystone Pipeline Limited Partnership and will be constructed immediately adjacent to TransCanada's Keystone XL Pipeline.
