AltaLink is proposing to construct a new transmission line to connect the proposedCenovus FCCL Ltd. Boreal 193S Substation to AltaLink's existing 971L transmission line. This will allow Cenovus' proposed Narrows Lake Oil Sands Project to receive power from the Alberta Interconnected Electric System.
This project includes:
- a new 240 kV single circuit tranmission line
- the addition of one airbreak structure
