Turning Point Generation (TPG) has requested a connection to the transmission system for their proposed pumped hydro energy storage (PHES) project. To facilitate this connection, AltaLink is proposing to construct a transmission line, operated and maintained by AltaLink, to connect TPG’s proposed new substation to the electric system. Although AltaLink’s project is separate from TPG’s project, it is required to facilitate the connection of their project.
