AltaLink is making changes to its transmission system to connect EPCOR’s City of Edmonton Transmission Reinforcement project to the grid. The project is located in northeast Edmonton near the North Saskatchewan River. AltaLink’s project includes:

• installing two new steel monopole structures on AltaLink’s existing 240 kilovolt (kV) 915L transmission line in Hermitage Park

• installing 1.6 kilometres of optical ground wire between the new structures and EPCOR’s existing Clover Bar Substation
