AltaLink’s culture of safety
In 2025, AltaLink was honoured to have received awards and recognition from Electricity Canada celebrating the company’s innovation, leadership, safety culture and commitment to inclusion and sustainability. One specific award AltaLink received was Electricity Canada’s Lifesaving Award, which recognized employees for extraordinary leadership in preventing harm for the Buddy Up program, developed by the Centre for Suicide Prevention.
AltaLink was also recognized by the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Centre for Suicide Prevention in 2025 for our participation in Buddy Up.
