To connect Blue Bridge Solar Park GP Ltd (Blue Bridge)’s solar project and Arenosum substation to the grid, AltaLink is making changes to its transmission system. The project is located in Cypress County, approximately 24 kilometres northwest of Hilda. AltaLink’s project includes:

• constructing approximately 300 metres of new 240 kilovolt (kV) transmission line (to be named 1002AL).
• modifying and realigning a portion of AltaLink’s existing 1002L transmission line.
• installing a new telecommunications tower in Blue Bridge’s approved Arenosum substation.
