The existing 170L transmission line, located In the Municipal District of Pincher Creek, was built in the 1950s. We are proposing to replace existing structures on the transmission line that are aging to ensure we can continue to deliver safe and reliable power for years to come.

AltaLink is proposing to replace 27 wood H-frame structures along the 170L transmission line, west of the Town of Pincher Creek.
