AltaLink needs to complete urgent repair work to replace the underground portion of its 937L Transmission Line. The line is located within Rocky View County, east of Calgary, adjacent to AltaLink’s Janet 74S Substation.

To maintain a safe and reliable supply of power, AltaLink installed temporary overhead bypass lines that will remain until the underground portion of 937L can be replaced. Approximately 130 metres of underground cables will be excavated, replaced and reburied as part of this project.
