Thank you for your ongoing participation in the Berland River Transmission Connection Project. The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) approved this project for construction on October 15, 2025. The AUC approved AltaLink’s preferred transmission line route to build approximately 60 kilometres of new 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line.

We began construction on October 16, 2025, and anticipate construction to be complete in May 2026.
