AltaLink is proposing to remove a substation and transmission line that are no longer required. This proposed project includes:

• removing the Empress Liquids 164S Substation, located approximately 22 kilometres north of the Hamlet of Hilda
• removing approximately three kilometres of the existing double-circuit transmission line (called 760AL/D760L) that is connected to the substation
• modifying two structures on the existing 760L transmission line to accommodate the removal of the transmission line
