AltaLink employees raise $906,000 for United Way 

AltaLink’s commitment to supporting the communities where we live, work, and play remained strong in 2025. Through our annual Powerful Giving campaign, team members from across the organization came together to raise funds for the United Way of Calgary and Area and other charities across the province. Through the 2025 campaign, employees raised a total of $906,000, including a dollar-for-dollar donation match by AltaLink, and volunteered over 400 hours giving back to their community.  

The 2025 campaign theme, Light the Way, reflected our shared goal of being a partner to communities that need us most. It was a call to action, reminding us that together, we can help each other and those in need. Through creative activities and team-driven initiatives, employees demonstrated how collective effort can light a path forward for communities facing challenges. 

“This campaign reflects AltaLink’s culture of being one team, focusing on working collaboratively, caring deeply, and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most,” said Carrie Bullee, Campaign Co-Chair. “When we unite behind a shared purpose, we truly light the way for our communities.” 

AltaLink has now raised more than $13 million over 23 years in support of United Way. This underscores our ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
