Committed to our people and our customers

We equip employees with the resources and support they need to be successful. We encourage teamwork and provide a safe, rewarding, equitable, and inclusive work environment. We make no compromise when it comes to safety and security.

2023 performance

  • We kept our annual cost to customers below 2018 levels for the fifth consecutive year, delivering on our flat-for-five commitment to Albertans.
  • Through ongoing employee training, learning and engagement opportunities, we continued efforts to build an inclusive environment where all of our employees feel safe and comfortable being their authentic selves. Our employees raised more than $800,000 for charities across the province in 2023, after the dollar-for-dollar match by AltaLink. We have raised approximately $11 million over 21 years in support of United Way.
  • We received the President’s Award for Safety Excellence in Transmission from Electricity Canada in 2023, the seventh consecutive year the company has been honoured. AltaLink was once again the top performer in the transmission category for companies with 300 to 1,500 full-time employees.
  • We achieved our best-ever annual results in customer satisfaction.
