To accommodate a new industrial development, AltaLink is proposing to modify and relocate a portion of its 691L Transmission Line located in Rocky View County, southwest of the City of Chestermere. The relocation has been requested by Rocky View County to align with their development plans for a business park and road improvements.

To accommodate the new development, AltaLink is proposing to relocate approximately 500 metres of the existing transmission line up to approximately 10 metres to the north. This relocation will require the following modifications:

• removing five existing transmission structures
• adding six new transmission structures
