To connect Aira Wind Power Inc’s (Aira) Aira Solar Project to the grid, AltaLink is proposing changes to its transmission system in the area.

The proposed project is located in Cypress County in NW-31-8-7-W4, approximately 35 kilometres southeast of the Town of Bow Island. It includes modifying an existing transmission line, constructing a new transmission line, and installing underground fibre optic cable.
