AltaLink’s proposed project is located approximately 8.5 kilometres south of the Hamlet of Carseland in SE-17-21-25-W4.

To connect the Georgetown Solar Project to the electric system, AltaLink’s proposed project includes:

• adding one new structure on the existing 240 kilovolt (kV)transmission line (called 924L)
• building approximately 150 metres of new 240 kV transmission line (to be called 924AL)
• installing a new telecommunications tower within theMossleigh Substation located in NE-8-21-25-W4
