RES is constructing a new substation and transmission line as part of their new solar power facility located in Wheatland County, approximately four kilometres southwest of Carseland. RES is considering two connection points for their transmission line. To connect RES’s new solar power facility to the grid, AltaLink is proposing to modify the existing 924L/927L transmission line at one of two potential locations, depending on the final connection point.
